Website Purpose
My goal for my website is to create a space where I can showcase my work, industry-related interests, and marketing ideas all in one place. I hope that my website can serve as a portfolio for potential new employers or marketing customers to be able to understand who I am and the quality of work I can provide, and overall get a better understanding of my personality and how that is reflected in my work. I am under the impression that if I am able to showcase my work and personality, I will have a better chance of obtaining a job in the marketing industry.
Website Hosting Provider
I chose BlueHost as my provider for several reasons. The primary one is cost. After researching other website hosting alternatives, I concluded that Bluehost provided me with the most features, such as being directly compatible with WordPress, backing up my work, and providing the appropriate bandwidth. BlueHost allowed me to pay upfront for one year, giving me enough time to create my website and use it in the real world. After that one-year mark, I can decide if I want to continue with BlueHost or change my provider to one that better fits me if I decide my needs are more advanced.
