My favourite marketing trends.

Influencer marketing has become a powerful force in the industry, and that’s no surprise. What I find most interesting, though, is a more genuine and down-to-earth approach. My favorite form of influencer marketing is when brands send their products to regular people who are already talking about them online. I’m not referring to influencers who claim to be relatable while earning millions through content creation. I mean everyday individuals who post honest, unpaid reviews simply because they love the product.

When a brand notices this kind of genuine enthusiasm and sends a product package as a gesture of appreciation, it feels authentic. It doesn’t seem staged or forced. As a consumer, I find this approach far more believable and impactful. It makes me trust the brand more, and I take the feedback more seriously. It feels like getting a recommendation from someone I know rather than watching a scripted advertisement.

I believe more companies should adopt this strategy. By recognizing and supporting real customer voices, brands can create deeper, more meaningful connections with their audiences. Authenticity builds trust, and in today’s digital world, trust is everything.
